Active Design Solutions was established over 15 years ago. We work with our clients on ideas and concepts towards manufacturing in New Zealand and overseas. While building close and sustainable working relationships with our clients, we gain a clear understanding of their challenges and objectives. This partnership approach has worked successfully for our clients in Furniture, Demolition, Food, Dairy, Material Handling, Gas and many other manufacturing areas as well as in General Engineering.

Let's Challenge

We consult on ideas and concepts and bring a wide spectrum of knowledge to projects. We produce on screen Photo-Realistic images for presentations and marketing. While modelling concepts and ideas in cutting edge 3D software packages, we evaluate the design by using tools such as on-screen Kinematics and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). We also create accurate models and drawings for manufacture for local and external manufacturing and, if required, produce 3D prints of innovations.

Plant Design

Product Layouts and detail drawings for construction of equipment and machinery for plants. Follow the project from start to finish providing vital information in the construction and installation of equipment.

Power Shear

Power Shear used to break up construction material at a demolition site. Design intent was to make it strong and light so it can be attached at the end of an Excavator.

Removable Deck

Design and produced manufacturing drawings for a new concept in truck decking. This platform can be easily detached and another one can be installed in a short space of time changing the logistics of delivery.

Finite Element Analysis

Create high quality drawings for Fabricator and Engineering shop.
